RECENT FORM VS. ORLANDO CITY SC
The Revs have historically had the upper hand as hosts against Orlando City, and while New England won't be at Gillette Stadium when Orlando come to town on Wednesday night, the Revolution are still carrying a perfect record at home through their regular season appearances in Foxborough. In their previous two outings at Centreville Bank Stadium – both Open Cup games – the Revs have walked away with winning results.
Both teams meet during a busy stretch, each coming off a two-game week. The Revs welcome Orlando following two positive results, which saw them pick up four points on their two-game road trip with a 2-1 win at Atlanta United FC last Wednesday and a 1-1 draw against Inter Miami CF on Saturday.
Orlando found just their second win of the season in their midweek test against Charlotte FC, taking down The Crown, 4-1. While they registered their season’s largest margin of victory to start the multi-game week, they ended it with a 3-2 loss against D.C. United. With six goals, Orlando scored as many goals through the two games as they had all season up to that point. As they begin to find their rhythm on the attack, they could prove a tough matchup for New England.
The winner of Wednesday's game will move on to the Quarterfinal round of the tournament, which will be played on May 19 or May 20. Following the Open Cup duel, the Revolution will begin a four-game homestand in Foxborough starting May 2 against Charlotte FC.
Overall Record vs. Orlando City SC: 8-7-8

The Revolution will sport the "Independence Day" kit on Wednesday night. Released at the start of the 2026 season, it will serve as the team's Club Kit through the 2026-27 campaigns.
Honoring 250 years of American Independence, the kit pays homage to the New England history which helped shape the country. The bold design leans into the themes of celebration, inspired by the classic patriotic bunting and the fireworks displays that have been lighting up New England skies for a quarter Millenium. With the Heritage Tree on the shirtfront and "Est. 1776" on the collar, the kit embodies New England pride.
The Independence Day jersey is paired with navy shorts adorned by three red stripes down each side. The red, white, and blue socks also sport the Revolution seal across the shins.
