CHESTER, Penn. (Oct. 24, 2026) – The New England Revolution (17-10-4, 55 pts.) extended their winning streak to three games with a 2-1 victory over the Philadelphia Union (13-11-7, 46 pts.) at Subaru Park on Saturday night. The result propelled New England into second place in the Eastern Conference and snapped the host's 15-game unbeaten run. The Revolution's 17 wins this season are now tied for the club's second most in a single campaign.

The Revolution struck first before halftime as forward Dor Turgeman celebrated his 23rd birthday with his 10th goal of the season. Midfielder Carles Gil added a goal from the penalty spot in the second half, which proved to be the game winner. Philadelphia defender Neil Pierre scored 12 minutes into second-half stoppage time, but New England weathered the storm, helped by Matt Turner's six saves, to secure all three points on the road.

Philadelphia dictated the tempo throughout the opening half hour and nearly opened the scoring when Milan Iloski unleashed a close-range effort from inside the box in the 22nd minute, but Turner denied the attempt. New England responded shortly after through midfielder Dániel Gazdag, Philadelphia's all-time leading scorer, whose curling effort from the left side of the box in the 27th minute was turned away by Andre Blake. Gazdag tested his former teammate again in the 33rd minute, but Blake stood tall in net.

The Revolution finally found the breakthrough in first-half stoppage time, soon after Blake denied a backheeled effort from Turgeman minutes earlier. Gil weaved through the Union defense before slipping a pass to Peyton Miller, whose header redirected the ball into Turgeman's path at the back post. The Israeli striker buried a tap-in to send New England into the locker room with a 1-0 advantage. With 10 goals on the season, New England now has two players in double digits for the first time since 2021. Gil, the Revs' other player with 10-plus goals, collected his 99th career MLS assist on the play. For Miller, the primary helper was his fourth assist in the last three matches.

New England carried the momentum into the second half and nearly doubled its advantage in the 58th minute. Gil capitalized on a Philadelphia giveaway, juked his defender, and lofted an effort toward the far post, but an outstretched Blake made the save. Argentine attacker Luca Langoni also threatened in the 72nd minute, racing toward goal and forcing another stop from Blake with a low shot on frame.

The Revolution eventually doubled their lead from the penalty spot after Pierre fouled Gil just inside the box. The Spaniard calmly converted his penalty kick for his career-high 13th goal of the season, improving to 24-for-27 from the penalty spot in his MLS career. With three games remaining, Gil needs one more goal contribution to match his career high of 26 set in 2023.

Philadelphia pulled one back in second-half stoppage time when Pierre headed home from close range, but the Revolution withstood the late pressure to see out the result. Turner preserved New England's advantage in the closing stages with a punch save on a dangerous chance in the final minute of the match. In his 150th Revolution appearance across all competitions, Turner finished with six saves and matched his own career high with his 17th win of the season, also a club single-season record.

New England is back in Foxborough next week for more high-stakes contests to close out the regular season home slate.
