FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (Oct. 28, 2026) – The New England Revolution (18-10-4, 58 pts.) extended their winning streak to four games by edging out Red Bull New York (11-15-6, 39 pts.), 3-2, on Wednesday night at Gillette Stadium. Striker Dor Turgeman bagged a brace tonight, while Carles Gil became just the eighth player in MLS history to record 100 regular season assists. After New York evened the match 2-2 with two second-half goals, Dániel Gazdag netted the winner in the 83rd minute. Goalkeeper Matt Turner logged eight saves to help New England grab all three points.
With tonight's victory, the Revolution are guaranteed a top-three finish in the Eastern Conference, securing home-field advantage in the first round of the Audi 2026 MLS Playoffs. New England's 18 wins are now second most in club history, while the 11 home wins are one shy of matching the Revolution record.
New England needed just nine minutes to grab the lead as Turgeman continued his red-hot form with his fourth goal in as many matches. Fellow Israeli Ilay Feingold sparked the attack with a short pass to Gil, who continued the move to Turgeman at the top of the box. The forward rifled a right-footed finish beyond the reach of the diving Red Bull goalkeeper Ethan Horvath. Now with 13 goals and 13 assists on the season, Gil has matched his single-season high for goal contributions (26).
Red Bull pressed for an equalizer throughout the first half, forcing Turner into five saves before the break. The visitors' most dangerous sequence came in the 42nd minute when Cade Cowell's saved shot fell kindly to Jorge Ruvalcaba. However, Feingold produced back-to-back defensive plays, first blocking Ruvalcaba's shot and then thwarting Mohammed Sofo seconds later to preserve New England's 1-0 advantage ahead of halftime.
The Revolution wasted no time adding to their lead after the break, with Turgeman completing his second brace of the season less than a minute into the second half. Feingold again initiated the attack, feeding Luca Langoni on the right side of the penalty area, where the winger delivered a ball across the face of goal for Turgeman to tap home. The Argentine logged his seventh assist of the season in his third straight start, while Feingold notched two helpers in the same night for the second time in his MLS career.
However, Red Bull answered quickly, with Cowell cutting into the deficit in the 51st minute before U.S. international Julian Hall brought the visitors level in the 64th minute. New England nearly regained the lead moments later, but Langoni's attempt from the center of the box, created by a well-timed cross from Peyton Miller, smashed off the right post.
The Revolution rallied in the 83rd minute through Gazdag, who netted his sixth goal of the campaign and his second for New England. After entering as a substitute in the 62nd minute, Miller tested Horvath with a left-footed shot that spilled into the path of Gazdag for a simple finish.
In net for New England, Turner stood tall in the final minutes, turning away a close-range effort for his eighth save of the night, one shy of his single-game MLS high. With the result, Turner set a new career high with his 18th win of the season, also a new Revolution single-season record.
