FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution will take on Columbus Crew SC this afternoon in the Audi 2020 MLS Cup Playoffs Eastern Conference Final at MAPFRE Stadium, with the winner advancing to next Saturday’s 2020 MLS Cup final. The conference championship game kicks off at 3:00 p.m. ET on ABC and ESPN Deportes, and is also available locally on the radio on ROCK 92.9 FM, and on 1260 AM Nossa Radio USA in Portuguese. Here is a look at New England’s team for today’s contest:

Lineup Notes:

• Sporting Director and Head Coach Bruce Arena, the league’s all-time leader in playoff games coached (54 including today) and wins (35), has selected the same Starting XI for the third consecutive match. Arena has reached MLS Cup in seven of his previous 14 seasons coaching in MLS.
• The Revolution’s 20-man squad for today’s Eastern Conference Final features seven players who were available in the 2014 MLS Cup final: Teal Bunbury, Scott Caldwell, Andrew Farrell, Diego Fagundez, Brad Knighton, Lee Nguyen, and Kelyn Rowe. Farrell, Caldwell, and Bunbury are all starting today, and were also in the Starting XI in the 2014 final, which was played against Bruce Arena’s LA Galaxy.
• Designated Players Gustavo Bou, Adam Buksa and Carles Gil, who have accounted for six of New England’s seven postseason goals, are starting together in New England’s attack for the fifth consecutive match, including all four postseason games.
• Gustavo Bou, making his fifth MLS Cup Playoffs appearance, leads the team with three goals this postseason. He recorded the third postseason brace in club history in last Sunday’s 3-1 win at Orlando.
• Bou is one goal away from matching the club record for goals in a single postseason set by Charlie Davies (4) in 2014. He is also one goal away from tying Teal Bunbury (4) for the team lead in career MLS Cup Playoffs goals.
• Carles Gil, also making his fifth appearance in the MLS Cup Playoffs, owns two goals and three assists this postseason. Wearing the captain’s armband today, Gil is one assist away from entering a four-way tie with Lee Nguyen, Jose Cancela and Steve Ralston (4) for the most postseason assists in club history.
• Adam Buksa has appeared in every match across all competitions in 2020. The Polish striker owns one goal and one assist this postseason, in addition to six tallies in the regular season.
• Teal Bunbury and Scott Caldwell both played for Columbus Head Coach Caleb Porter at the University of Akron, where they were also teammates with Columbus’ Darlington Nagbe. Caldwell, Porter, and Nagbe won the 2010 NCAA Division I Men’s Soccer national championship together.
• Bunbury logs his team-best 16^th MLS Cup Playoffs appearance today, and is 98 minutes away from surpassing Seth Sinovic (1,314) for the team lead in career playoff minutes. The club’s 2020 Golden Boot winner, Bunbury led all MLS players with six away goals in the regular season.
• Caldwell makes his 13^th postseason appearance and 10^th start, all with New England. The Homegrown Player from Braintree, Mass. is 93 minutes shy of becoming the fourth Revolution player to eclipse 1,000 career minutes played in the postseason during the 2020 MLS Cup Playoffs.
• Tajon Buchanan is set to make his fourth consecutive start at right back after appearing in all 23 regular season contests primarily as a winger. The 2020 Canadian Youth International Player of the Year owns one goal and won a penalty this postseason.
• Matt Turner, 3-1-0 for his career in the MLS Cup Playoffs, is one win away from being the first Revolution goalkeeper to win four games in a single postseason. The Revs have never won four games, or won three away games, in a single playoff campaign,
• Andrew Farrell registers his 12^th appearance in the MLS Cup Playoffs today. The eighth-year defender eclipsed 1,000 minutes played in the postseason, all with New England, during last Sunday’s win at Orlando.
• Rookie defender Henry Kessler has started all four playoff games, and has appeared in all but one match in all competitions in 2020.
• DeJuan Jones makes his fifth MLS Cup Playoffs appearance with his start at left back. Jones has registered 90-minute performances in all four of his postseason appearances entering today’s contest.
• Matt Polster makes his fifth career appearance in the MLS Cup Playoffs.

• Diego Fagundez makes his first appearance on the match day roster this postseason. The 10^th-year pro and Revolution Academy product owns four career appearances, including three starts, and 271 minutes played in the MLS Cup Playoffs.
• Tommy McNamara has appeared in all three contests this postseason, including one start in the Play-In Round vs. Montreal on Nov. 20.
• Michael Mancienne, Justin Rennicks and Kelyn Rowe have each appeared off the bench in two of three matches this postseason.
