Saturday afternoon was supposed to be another home date for the New England Revolution as they were scheduled to host the Montreal Impact at Gillette Stadium. We wish we could all be together, but right now the most important thing we can do is stay home.
With that in mind, there’s plenty of live Revolution content to keep you occupied while relaxing on the couch this weekend, from lots of FIFA 20 action to re-living a classic match from 2006.
Here’s what’s lined up for this weekend’s slate:
SATURDAY, April 25
1 p.m.
EA SPORTS FIFA 20 Simulation: Revs vs. Impact
Streaming live on Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook
We’ll get things started with a FIFA 20 simulation of the Revolution’s clash with the Impact, as they aim to stretch their virtual unbeaten run to five games in a rematch of the real-life season opener that took place back on February 29, when the Impact claimed a 2-1 win at Olympic Stadium.
3 p.m.
eMLS Match: JKO (Revolution) vs. mehdibob3 (Montreal Impact)
Streaming live on Twitch
Stay on the FIFA 20 train but switch gears to some real-life competition as the Revolution’s eMLS competitor John Oliveira (JKO) takes on the Impact’s own Mehdi Benghalem (mehdibob3) with bragging rights on the line.
7 p.m.
2006 Eastern Conference Semifinals (Leg 2) Replay
Watch live on NBC Sports Boston
As night falls switch on over to NBC Sports Boston to re-live the epic second leg of the 2006 Eastern Conference Semifinals, when the Revs erased a 2-0 aggregate deficit against the rival Chicago Fire to force a penalty shootout, which they won behind the heroics of goalkeeper Matt Reis.

Sunday is a big day for Diego Fagundez, who’ll kick things off by joining Jillian Sakovits for an interview on Instagram Live to discuss the eMLS tournament on FS1 and his matchup with D.C. United’s Paul Arriola. Fagundez will be on the @NERevolution account, while Sakovits will be on @MLS.
