As freedom rings, so does the energy from the New England Revolution’s newest primary kit, “The Liberty.”
This jersey is the first to feature the club’s new crest and bold brand identity. The Revs’ new branding is rooted in the region’s history as the birthplace of the American Revolution and the resilient, defiant spirit of the people of New England. It reflects the evolution of one of Major League Soccer’s founding clubs with a new, fresh look.
How did “The Liberty” come to be?
The bespoke pattern is inspired by Boston’s Freedom Trail, a walking trail through the heart of Boston which passes 16 historical sites from the American Revolution – which gives a nod to the club name.
This sleek new look will be paired with blue shorts, conveying a defiant, confident and strong appearance. It is the first time the club will be wearing blue shorts since 2013. This one color appearance makes the Revolution crest stand out in its inaugural season.
