Happy New Year, Junior Revs!

I hope you had a wonderful holiday season and are excited for what’s to come in 2024!

We had a busy offseason with roster changes and the hiring of our new head coach, Caleb Porter! Let’s dive in, Porter is a two-time MLS Cup winner with nine seasons of managerial experience in Major League Soccer. He coached for both the Portland Timbers and Columbus Crew SC and becomes the Revs ninth official head coach in club history!

In roster movement news, we have 17 returning players guaranteed for this year, three new Homegrown Players set to join the first-team roster, and a permanent transfer of Tomas Chancalay. We also acquired veteran defender Nick Lima from Austin FC in exchange for $275,000 in 2024 General Allocation Money. Lima recorded five assists in each of the last two MLS campaigns, one of only five MLS defenders to do so alongside DeJuan Jones! We’re so excited to welcome these two to the team!

We’re only a few months away from our opener on March 3 against Toronto FC but the team will be starting the year off with the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup! We will begin Round One with an away match at Club Atletico Independiente on Feb. 21 at 8 p.m. before hosting the second leg of the two-game series at home on Feb. 29! Be sure to get your tickets and come support the team!
