Happy March Junior Revs!
The Revs had an exciting preseason out in Florida where they played three matches against Philadelphia Union, Nashville SC, and Orlando City SC. The Revs had two great wins over Nashville (1-0) and Orlando (2-1). Midfielder Dylan Borrero scored a wonderful goal in our win against Nashville and Designated Player Giacomo Vironi, scored once against Orlando. Orlando scored an own goal as Brandon Bye found Vrioni’s run in the box and created the winning goal!
And just like that, the 2023 season begins! We hope that you’ll join us for our home opener on March 4 at 7:30 p.m. against the Houston Dynamo FC. For those of you who can’t make it, we have another home match two weeks later against Nashville SC on March 18 at 7:30 p.m. Can’t make it to either match? You can now watch the entire 2023 MLS season, including the playoffs, with MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app.
In case you didn’t hear, we released our new Defiance kit! The jersey’s design features a bold red “strikethrough” across the chest that embodies New England’s famous spirit of positive defiance. Revolution is the ultimate act of defiance, and the club’s new kit honors that resilient spirit that sparked the American Revolution, laid the foundation for our country, and has resonated throughout the New England region for centuries thereafter. For the first time, the Revolution’s jersey will feature the Heritage Tree, paying homage to the flag of New England that has adorned every Revolution kit in recent seasons. The Heritage Tree is also a nod to the Revolution’s status as one of the original MLS clubs competing since 1996.
For those of you who are new to the Junior Revs program, be sure to check in with us at each home match at the Junior Revs tent up on the concourse by the East Ramp Landing (near sections 101-104) or inside the CVS Health Gate (near sections 123-126). Each check-in will count towards your total for our end-of-the-year rewards program. The more matches you attend, the higher your prize tier!
