RECENT FORM VS. AUSTIN FC
Saturday night's showdown in Texas will be just the second-ever meeting between the Revs and Austin FC, who battled to a 2-2 draw at Gillette Stadium in September 2023 on the back of Tomás Chancalay's first two goals in a Revolution jersey. While the Revs have made plenty of visits to the Lone Star State with trips to Dallas and Houston, this will be their first journey to Austin and Q2 Stadium, which will also host the MLS All-Star Game on July 23.
Carles Gil scored his team-leading eighth goal of the season to lead another comeback bid on Wednesday night at Gillette Stadium, but Lionel Messi's two first-half goals were too much to overcome as the Revs (6-8-6, 24 pts.) suffered a 2-1 loss to Inter Miami CF in front of 43,293 fans in Foxborough. The defeat leaves New England winless in five (0-4-1) and looking to rebound in Austin, having seen their seven-game road unbeaten run snapped last weekend in Portland to leave their road record at 4-3-4.
Austin FC (7-8-5, 26 pts.) was also in action midweek, visiting the San Jose Earthquakes in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup quarterfinals on Tuesday night. A 1-1 draw after 90 minutes led to a 2-2 draw after extra time, and an eventual penalty shootout win for Austin FC to book a spot in the Open Cup semifinals for the first time in club history. In league play, ATXFC currently sit 9th in the West, just inside the playoff places, while they're 2-1-0 in their last three matches and 4-2-4 at home.
New England's stretch of five games in 15 days will conclude next week, when they'll visit the New York Red Bulls on Wednesday night (July 16) before returning home to host Orlando City SC on Saturday night (July 19).

SHOW YOUR COLORS
Saturday night the Revs will wear the "Eastern White Pine" kit, which will serve as the club's Community kit for the 2025 and 2026 seasons.
Inspired by the Flag of New England on the 250th anniversary of its first use by New England colonies in the Revolutionary War, this is the first time in a decade that the Revs have paid homage to the historic Flag of New England in their kit design. While the Flag of New England has regularly been featured as a minor accent on the club's jerseys, the new kit's design iterates on past tributes by focusing on the Eastern White Pine featured on the flag.
This is the first season-long Revolution uniform to feature Forest Green as the leading color, accented by the club’s Heritage Blue, paired with white shorts and white socks.
