RECENT FORM VS. PHILADELPHIA UNION
The Revs and Union squared off just two months ago at Gillette Stadium, where an early red card was too much for New England to overcome in a 3-0 loss. That was the Revolution's third straight loss to the Union following a pair of playoff defeats last October and November, while they've also lost on their last three visits to Subaru Park, where they have an overall record of 5-15-3 dating back to Philadelphia's expansion season in 2010.
Depleted once again by injuries and suspensions, New England (7-13-1, 22 pts.) took a 1-0 lead into halftime of this past weekend's meeting with Orlando City SC courtesy of Giacomo Vrioni's sixth goal in six games, but that advantage evaporated in the second half of an eventual 3-1 loss. The Revs have now dropped three of their last four on the back of a four-game winning streak, but they remain within striking distance of the playoff places in the Eastern Conference, just four points back of ninth-place Nashville SC (6-9-8, 26 pts.).
Philadelphia (4-10-9, 21 pts.) sit at the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings and 28th in the overall league table following this past weekend's 2-1 loss to Toronto FC. Since beginning the season 3-0-3 through their first six games, the Union have won just once in their last 17 league contests (1-10-6), though that lone victory was against the Revolution at Gillette Stadium on May 18. Perhaps most surprising is Philadelphia's home form, as their 1-6-4 record at Subaru Park is the worst home mark in Major League Soccer after the Union went a combined 22-1-11 at the venue the last two seasons.
The Revs will follow up their midweek visit to Philly with another home game against FC Dallas on Saturday night, their final match before taking a month-long break from MLS action to participate in Leagues Cup.
Overall Record vs. Philadelphia Union: 11-24-8

Wednesday night the Revs will wear their "Defiance" kit, which will serve as the team's community uniform once again for the 2024 MLS season.
The "Defiance" kit features a white jersey and red shorts, with red socks and red trim along the shoulder and sleeves. The shirt's design is punctuated by a bold red "strikethrough" across the chest that embodies New England's famous spirit of positive defiance. Revolution is the ultimate act of defiance, and the club's new kit honors that resilient spirit that sparked the American Revolution, laid the foundation for our country, and has resonated throughout the New England region for centuries.
