FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (Nov. 8, 2026) – Major League Soccer today announced the Round One schedule for the Audi 2026 MLS Cup Playoffs, where the New England Revolution (No. 3) will meet the Philadelphia Union (No. 6) in a best-of-three series beginning with Game 1 on Saturday, November 21, 2:00 p.m. ET at Gillette Stadium.
The opening match of the series on November 21 will mark the Revolution's first home playoff game at Gillette Stadium since 2023. The Revolution will then travel to Subaru Park in Chester, Penn. for Game 2 on Saturday, November 28 at 4:30 p.m. ET. If the series is tied after two games, the Revolution would host the decisive Game 3 at Gillette Stadium on Wednesday, Dec. 2 (kickoff time to be determined).
The Audi 2026 MLS Cup Playoffs will culminate with a historic 2026 MLS Cup presented by Audi taking place in primetime on Friday, December 18. Every match of the Audi 2026 MLS Cup Playoffs will be available on Apple TV in more than 100 countries and regions, offering fans a single destination to watch their favorite teams with no blackouts. MLS Cup presented by Audi will air on FOX and FOX Deportes in the U.S. and on TSN and RDS in Canada, while select additional playoff matches will air on FS1, FOX Deportes, TSN and RDS.
This will be the third playoff meeting in the last seven years between New England and Philadelphia, all Round One matchups. The Revolution prevailed in the first bout, 2-0, at Subaru Park in 2020. The last time the two regional rivals met in the 2023 postseason, New England's most recent playoff series, the Union had the upper hand in both matches to win the best-of-three series. During the 2026 MLS regular season, the Revolution swept the season series with Philadelphia, winning 2-1 both at home and away.
The Round One Best-of-3 Series includes a home-away-home configuration that guarantees at least one home game for all teams. Game 1 matches will be hosted by the higher seed. Game 2 matches will be hosted by the lower seed and as needed, the higher seed will host the decisive Game 3. If a match is tied at the end of regulation during the Wild Card and Best-of-3 Series, no extra time will be played, and teams will participate in penalty kicks to determine the winner. The first team to win two matches in the Best-of-3 Series will advance to the Audi 2026 MLS Cup Playoffs Conference Semifinals.
