ALUMNI NIGHT

Celebrating 30 seasons of New England Revolution soccer, the club welcomes several all-time greats back to Foxborough on Saturday evening as part of the club's first-ever Alumni Night. A full list of players expected to attend Alumni Night can be found HERE.

Highlighting the night's festivities will be an all-inclusive "Meet the Greats" event at the Sports Illustrated Pavilion prior to the match. In addition to unlimited food, beer, and wine, tickets to the event include the chance to meet legends representing every era of Revolution soccer, from the club's inaugural 1996 season to the 2021 Supporters' Shield title. The Far Post Podcast presented by MA250 will also record live at the event, gathering stories from throughout the club's 30 seasons from several of the attending alumni. More information on the event and ticket packages can be found HERE.

Revs alumni will also be recognized on the Gillette Stadium field at halftime on Saturday night, giving all fans in attendance the chance to honor the players for contributions to the club.

"Meet the Greats" Alumni Night

Ticket packages for ‘Meet the Greats’ are available now, starting at $180 for non-members (includes Cross Insurance Club ticket and pregame hospitality with food, beer, and wine) and $80 for Season Members. Members will also be able to exchange the equivalent of the number of seats they have in their membership.

RETRO VIEWFINDER GIVEAWAY

Retro viewfinders highlighting 30 seasons of Revolution soccer will be distributed at all ticket gates, while supplies last. Reels will display iconic moments in club history, along with recognizing players from the Revolution All-Time Team that was selected in 2020.

RECENT FORM VS. D.C. UNITED

A fitting meeting on Alumni Night, this will be the 100th all-time showdown between these MLS originals whose history dates all the way back to the Revolution's first-ever home game on April 27, 1996. New England had a dominant stretch in this series from 2020 through 2023, going 9-1-0 through that period, but D.C. has had an upper hand more recently, winning both meetings in 2024 before a 1-1 draw at Audi Field this past May.

The Revs (6-11-7, 25 pts.) continue their four-game homestand after a 15-day break from action, aiming to get back on track as they enter the final 10 games of the regular season schedule. A 3-1 loss to CF Montréal in their most recent outing on July 25 leaves New England winless in nine (0-7-2), and they'll need to start stacking points through August and September in order to book a return to the postseason.

Playoffs are unlikely for D.C. United (4-14-7, 19 pts.), currently 16 points back of the postseason line with nine games remaining and just three points off the foot of the MLS table. A recent coaching change saw René Weiler appointed head coach in mid-July, but D.C. remain winless in their last nine in all competitions (0-8-1), conceding 25 goals throughout that stretch.

New England's four-game homestand will come to a close on August 16 when they'll host Los Angeles FC at Gillette Stadium.

Overall Record vs. D.C United: 40-42-17

SHOW YOUR COLORS

Saturday night the Revs will wear "The '96" kit, unveiled in July as part of the adidas x MLS Archive Collection. Celebrating the style and aesthetic of the late '90s and early 2000s, the Revs are one of 10 MLS clubs featuring new third kits, styled with a matching jacket and Gazelle shoes.

An unapologetic tribute to the club's start in the '90s, "The '96" kit revives the team's original wordmark, bold colors, and front-facing numbers on the pitch. The jersey is primarily Bright Red and features a gradient pattern that invokes the '96 jerseys with a contemporary flair. The retro Revolution wordmark is emblazoned on the shirt's front, while the back features the original MLS logo and "Gillette", the Revolution's primary jersey sponsor since 2025.

The shirts will be paired with Bright Red socks, while the shorts, shirt details, and numerals utilize a refreshed shade of Night Sky Blue.

The entire Archive Collection is currently available for purchase HERE.
