FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (January 5, 2024) – The New England Revolution will commence the 2024 preseason when players convene at the Revolution Training Center in Foxborough for entrance physicals beginning on Saturday, Jan. 13. After a week of training in Massachusetts from Jan. 15-19, the team will depart for a four-week training camp at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.
During the preseason trip, the Revolution will play five friendly matches against MLS competition: New York Red Bulls (Jan. 24), FC Cincinnati (Feb. 1, Feb. 15), Orlando City SC (Feb. 10), and the Philadelphia Union (Feb. 14). All five preseason contests will be closed-door matches.
After preseason training in Florida, New England will open the 2024 season, its first under new Head Coach Caleb Porter, with a road trip to Panama for the first leg of Round One of the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup. The Revolution will play against CA Independiente at Estadio Universitario FC on Wednesday, Feb. 21 (8:00 p.m. ET), before traveling to the nation’s capital to open the 2024 MLS regular season on Saturday, Feb. 24 to face D.C. United (7:30 p.m. ET). New England then returns home for the return leg against CA Independiente at Gillette Stadium on Thursday, Feb. 29 (8:15 p.m. ET), before the club’s MLS home opener on Sunday, March 3 vs. Toronto FC (2:00 p.m. ET).
