TEAM NOTES
- The Revolution are back home in between a pair of three-match road stretches, hosting the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday in the teams' first encounter since 2019.
- New England is unbeaten in its last seven matches (4-0-3) against San Jose dating back to 2013.
- New England hasn't lost in its last five MLS matches (4-0-1), with five wins in the last six games across all competitions.
- The Revolution's 10 goals conceded this season are tied with Vancouver Whitecaps FC for the fewest in MLS entering Matchday 14. Meanwhile, San Jose's 29 goals scored lead the league.

- M Carles Gil earned a spot on the MLS Team of the Matchday bench following his goal-and-assist performance to spark a 3-3 draw at Orlando.

- M Matt Polster signed a new multi-year contract with New England on Friday, extending the midfielder through the 2027 MLS season.
- Polster scored his first goal of the season last Saturday at Orlando City SC.

- Since the start of 2020, Polster is second among MLS midfielders with 204 interceptions and fifth with 47 blocked shots.

- Homegrown D Peyton Miller logs his eighth straight start at left back this season and the 15th start of his MLS career.
- M Alhassan Yusuf has now started all 12 matches for New England this season. The Nigerian has found the scoresheet in back-to-back games after tallying his first MLS goal last Saturday at Orlando.
- D Ilay Feingold recorded his first two MLS helpers last Saturday at Orlando, the first multi-assist game of his professional career.
- D Tanner Beason makes a sixth consecutive start in central defense. The Revolution are 5-0-1 when Beason makes an appearance this season, with four shutouts.
- D Mamadou Fofana has started each of his first 11 MLS appearances for the club. The Mali international has a team-high 75 clearances, 16 interceptions, and 17 tackles won.
NEW ENGLAND - SAN JOSE CONNECTIONS
- Revolution defender Tanner Beason (2020-24) and midfielder Jackson Yueill (2017-24) began their MLS careers with San Jose, with Yueill serving as the club's captain over the last three seasons.
- Seven San Jose players previously spent time with the New England Revolution: GK Earl Edwards Jr. (2021-24), D DeJuan Jones (2019-24), D Dave Romney (2023-24), D Nick Lima (2024), M Noel Buck (2022-25), M Mark-Anthony Kaye (2023-24), M Ian Harkes (2023-24).
- Buck hails from Arlington, Mass. and is a Revolution Academy product.
- Jones was originally selected in the first round of the 2019 MLS SuperDraft by New England, and remains tied for the club record for most assists by a defender in a single season (7, 2022 & 2023).
- Lima was teammates with Revolution forward Maxi Urruti at Austin FC from 2022-23.
- San Jose Sporting Director & Head Coach Bruce Arena served in the same role with New England from 2019-23, coaching the Revolution to the club's first Supporters' Shield title in 2021.
- San Jose Assistant Coach Shalrie Joseph played for New England from 2003-12 and 2014, before returning as an Academy coach from 2020-21 and elevating to first team assistant from 2022-23.
- San Jose Assistant Coach Steve Ralston was a member of the Revolution from 2002-10, winning four Eastern Conference crowns, the 2007 U.S. Open Cup, and the 2008 North American SuperLiga.
- San Jose Goalkeeping Coach Adin Brown spent 2002-04 as a member of the Revolution, helping the club reach the 2002 MLS Cup Final.
