TEAM NOTES

  • New England kicks off another three-game road swing with a trip to Sporting Kansas City. The Revs are 3-0-1 over the last four meetings with SKC.
  • New England has recorded points in five of its seven road games this season. The team's three road victories are one shy of the league lead.

MATT POLSTER | MIDFIELDER #8

  • M Matt Polster, who recently re-signed with New England through the 2027 MLS season, makes his 150th Revolution start across all competitions.

  • F Tomás Chancalay makes his first start of the regular season, his second of the year including the Revolution's Round of 32 win in the U.S. Open Cup. Saturday marks 364 days since Chancalay suffered a season-ending injury in May 2024.
  • D Brayan Ceballos logs the 12th start in his first MLS campaign on his 24th birthday. The Colombian center back has won a team-high 22 aerial duels this season.
  • Homegrown D Peyton Miller will make his ninth straight start, also his 20th start for the Revolution first team in all competitions.
  • M Alhassan Yusuf has found the scoresheet in two of his last three games, tallying his first MLS goal on May 10 at Orlando City SC.
  • F/W Ignatius Ganago logs his 13th straight start to begin the year. He leads the team with 13 shots on goal.
  • D Mamadou Fofana leads the team with 78 clearances, 17 interceptions, and 18 tackles won.
  • D Tanner Beason earns a seventh consecutive start in central defense. The Revolution are 5-0-2 when Beason makes an appearance this season, with five clean sheets.

NEW ENGLAND - KANSAS CITY CONNECTIONS

  • Sporting Kansas City Sporting Director Mike Burns served in a similar role as New England's general manager from 2011-19. A Marlborough, Mass. native, Burns played for the Revolution from 1996-2000 and served as the club's inaugural captain.
  • Sporting KC midfielder Memo Rodriguez and Revolution forward Maxi Urruti were teammates at Houston Dynamo FC in 2021 and Austin FC in 2023.
  • Revolution defender Wyatt Omsberg and Kansas City forward Mason Toye were teammates at Minnesota United FC from 2018-20, also spending part of the 2019 season on loan together with Forward Madison FC of USL League One.
