- Saturday is New England's annual Match for C.H.A.N.G.E., when players will wear jerseys with a special patch designed by local artist Eamon White, which will be signed and auctioned to benefit The Chica Project.
- New England is seeking back-to-back home wins for the second time this season after defeating D.C. United, 2-0, in their last outing.
- LAFC visits Foxborough for only the second time (last in 2019), as the Revolution aim for their first win against the Western Conference side in their fourth all-time meeting.
