RECENT FORM VS. FC CINCINNATI
The Revs fell to FC Cincinnati in both meetings last season, narrowly dropping points in a pair of 1–0 results. While New England has historically been the stronger side at TQL Stadium, the matchup at Gillette Stadium has been far more balanced (2-3-2), with Cincinnati gaining a slight edge during their 2025 visit to Foxborough.
Sunday's clash will open the Revolution's 2026 home slate, after historic winter weather postponed their match against Houston Dynamo last weekend. With newly-installed grass at Gillette Stadium, it will also mark the team’s first game on the new surface. After the first two tests of the season have left the Revs still searching for a win, they'll be eager to claim three points in front of the home crowd.Â
FC Cincinnati currently sit 7th in the Eastern Conference table after falling 1-0 against Toronto FC last weekend. Although the Orange and Blue tallied a total of 15 shots against the Canadian team, they only put two attempts on target.
Following Sunday's match, the Revs will face one more road test in St. Louis before starting a three-game homestand in Foxborough to begin the month of April.
Overall Record vs. FC Cincinnati: 6-4-3

The Revolution will debut the "Independence Day" kit on Sunday afternoon. Released at the start of the 2026 season, it will serve as the team's Club Kit through the 2026-27 campaigns.
Honoring 250 years of American Independence, the kit pays homage to the New England history which helped shape the country. The bold design leans into the themes of celebration, inspired by the classic patriotic bunting and the fireworks displays that have been lighting up New England skies for a quarter Millenium. With the Heritage Tree on the shirtfront and "Est. 1776" on the collar, the kit embodies New England pride.Â
The Independence Day jersey is paired with navy shorts adorned by three red stripes down each side. The red, white, and blue socks also sport the Revolution seal across the shins.
