Wednesday night's historic 1-0 win over the Colorado Rapids was the definition of a team achievement, as the New England Revolution set a new MLS single-season record for points (73), surpassing the previous mark of 72 set by Los Angeles FC in 2019. But a few individuals were honored for their contributions to the midweek triumph, with head coach Bruce Arena and center back Henry Kessler landing on the MLS Team of the Week, alongside Carles Gil on the bench.

Arena's recognition was a no-brainer as the legendary coach won his 240th regular season game on Wednesday, tying Sigi Schmid for most wins all-time among MLS coaches. Hired by New England in May of 2019 when the Revs were mired in last place in the Eastern Conference, Arena needed just 898 days to push his side to the top of MLS with the most decorated regular season in league history.

Kessler earned Team of the Week honors for the first time this season, helping the Revs to a much-needed clean sheet on a rainy night in Foxborough. The second-year defender led the Revolution with 94 percent passing accuracy (65-of-69) and seven tackles, while pitching in with five possessions gained and three clearances.

Gil garnered a spot on the bench with a team-high seven chances created against the Rapids, pushing him to 126 chances created on the year - the most in a single season since Opta began tracking the stat in 2011.

The Revs will have one more chance to add to their record-breaking point total when they host Inter Miami CF on Sunday, November 7 at Gillette Stadium (3:30 p.m. ET). Get your tickets HERE and join us in Foxborough as the Revs will officially lift the Supporters' Shield for the first time following the conclusion of the match.
