LOS ANGELES – The New England Revolution took flight to Los Angeles, California on Tuesday morning for more than two weeks of training in the City of Angels.
As the Revs boarded the Kraft charter flight to trade in snow for sunshine, 10-year veteran Andrew Farrell had very playful commentary. His video had the social media sphere buzzing on a cheeky TikTok showcasing his teammates “problems.”
Here is Farrell’s work of art that has everyone talking.
Twitter thoroughly enjoyed it. Here are some of the best reactions:
Farrell also left Revolution fans with a cliffhanger: Part two is coming soon.
Farrell's teammates later revealed that they didn't even know why they were being filmed, and were surprised when they saw the video.
“That's Andrew, he's a clown," Ema Boateng said with a laugh. "The entire day, he was just going around with his phone and recording everybody and wouldn't tell us what he's trying to do with it. We were like 'Dude, what are you doing?' and he's like 'No, it's fine, I'm doing a really cool thing.' And then he ends up roasting everybody."
Boateng alluded to the fact that there's been chatter about a potential way to seek retribution after Farrell's viral video.
"We're also thinking about ways to get back at him," said Boateng. "We have two weeks here; you guys will see somewhere online we'll get him back for sure.”
As Farrell, Boateng and their teammates continue their training in L.A., the squad will play a pair of friendly matches opening their preseason slate against Los Angeles FC at Banc of California Stadium on January 29 (3 p.m. ET) before facing the LA Galaxy on February 5 at Dignity Health Sports Park (10 p.m. ET).
